Following Snapchat and Instagram, the popular “Stories” feature is now making its way to WhatsApp.
Both Instagram and WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, continue to enhance user experiences by introducing new features. With this upcoming update, WhatsApp users will be able to share their stories with their personal contacts.
The “Stories” feature has gained immense popularity on Instagram. Based on the positive feedback received, Facebook is now preparing to extend this feature to WhatsApp users as well.
How Will WhatsApp “Stories” Work?
- WhatsApp, which facilitates seamless messaging with your phone contacts, will now allow users to share stories with all the contacts in their address book.
- Users can also limit who can view their stories by adjusting their privacy settings.
- Additionally, there will be an option to link your Facebook and Instagram accounts, enabling you to integrate and share your stories across these platforms.
Currently, the feature is still in the testing phase, and no official launch date has been announced. However, it has been reported that the feature is being tested in the WhatsApp beta for iOS and is expected to be included in the final release of the app’s latest version.
