Vine, which was launched in June last year and gained even more popularity after being acquired by Twitter in October, became the fastest-growing app of 2013.
The app, which allows users to create 6-second videos, achieved a growth rate of 403% during the first three quarters of this year, earning the title of the world’s fastest-growing app.
According to the rankings published by Mashable, Vine, with its record-breaking 403% growth rate, is followed by Flickr in second place with 146%, backed by Yahoo’s support. In third place is Vine’s eternal rival, Instagram, with a growth rate of 130%.
