Facebook’s facial recognition feature is now available for users in Turkey. With this new feature, users can easily monitor fake profiles and unauthorized photos shared without their consent. You will also be notified immediately if someone uses your photo as their profile picture or shares it without permission.
The facial recognition feature is enabled by default, but users can disable it with a single click in the “Privacy Settings” section. When this feature was first introduced, the company stated, “We want people to feel secure when sharing their photos.”
