Snapchat, continuously advancing in social media with new features and applications, has introduced another exciting update for its users. The once-popular Bitstrips have now been revived as Bitmoji, integrated into Snapchat.
Bitmojis, personalized emojis, have been revamped in collaboration with Bitstrips, a cartoon and avatar creator acquired by Snapchat for $100 million in March 2016.
If you haven’t created a Bitmoji before, you can start by downloading the app and designing your personalized avatar. Customize your character with features of your choice, then link your Snapchat and Bitmoji accounts through the “Settings” section in the Snapchat app. If you already have a Bitmoji account, you can seamlessly integrate it with Snapchat.
With Snapchat’s Bitmoji feature, you can add your custom Bitmoji as stickers to your Snaps and send them in Snapchat messages to anyone you like. Additionally, you can create Bitmojis featuring you and your friends for a collaborative twist.
When chatting with friends or replying to Snaps, you can use Friendmoji—special emojis featuring you and your Bitmoji-connected friends. These personalized stickers make your conversations and interactions even more engaging.
To start using Bitmojis on Snapchat and add a fun, personalized touch to your messages, simply download the Bitmoji Keyboard app on your iOS or Android device.
